Well today started out pretty blah and it didn't improve all that much but some is better than none.

I was at work in front of my computer when someone walked in to drop off a film. I looked up and I swear the guy was Billy Boyd (Pippin from Lord of the Rings) The guy was a dead ringer! I did a complete double take. The only thing seperating him from Billy Boyd was the lack of a Scottish accent. I think the guy probably thought I was weird cause I was just marvelling over how much he looked like Pippin! That was perhaps the first person I've ever met that looked that close to someone else. The other thing was that his last name was Floyd! Crazy! I'm tempted to bring a picture of Billy Boyd to work tomorrow just to prove my point to the rest of the staff who just thought I was crazy because they were all to busy to see him come in.

Work was slow today. I worked on an ad almost all day long! My boss kept changing his mind everytime I showed it to him. I remember them teaching us about this in school how clients will keep revising and revising till the cows come home. The problem is nothing ever gets done! Honestly this brochure was finished yesterday. Everytime he looked at it he wanted to ad, subtract or move something! I know I'm not perfect and I know I make mistakes but at some point you have to stop changing things and save the rest for version 2 so to speak.

The one good thing is that I'm no longer stuck listening to the lousy tbay radio stations! I can play any number of internet radio stations over the computer speakers! I found this awesome Canadian Internet Radio station called Iceberg radio. It has over 100 different stations that you can choose from! There's Canadian Pop, Canadian Rock, New Canadian Pop, EZ 80s, EZ 90s and EZ 70s. There's also alternative, jazz, a soundtrack station and punk stations. They also have a group of stations called time capsules. These stations play Billboard hits from each year. 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003 all have their own stations and then the 80s and 90s have a station for each decade. There are so many choices I never get bored with any music cause they are all different! I wish I had internet in my room at home because then I could listen to them while I was home too!

I started working on a few projects that I had been putting off. A lady in my church choir gave me some old audio tapes she wanted me to extract to CD for her. It's all music sung by a choir she used to belong to. I managed to finish one tape today.

The other project is that I was asked to build a web page for the Sacred Dance school in town. It's a great chance for me to practice my web work and to do something for an actual client. Maybe I'll even make a little bit of money out of it as I really need it.

I've been thinking a lot about what Scott said about teaching English in Prague. I did the math and I can have my loan paid off by end of June next year. I wouldn't have saved any money by then though. I'm not sure that I'm cut out for stuff like this or not. It's sounds really intriguing but I'm not sure if I'm a courageous enough person to do something so risky. After reading what it said on www.czechpoint.com I'm not sure that teaching there is such a good idea. It didn't say a lot that made me feel comfortable with the idea.
